II named this painting "Abundance" because it is inspired by the story in the Bible where Jesus takes two fish, multiples them, and feeds thousands of people.

Jesus' disciples are in awe, and the story reveals the heart of God in several ways.

One way, is that God is able to create something out of nothing. He can take a circumstance that looks extrememly lacking and bring abundance.

Another way this story reveals the heart of God is that when the multitudes of people were hungry, He did not send them away, but provied for their needs Himself. So many times when a prayer seems unanswered, it's easy to take the solution into our own hands rather than lean into what God may want to be sharing with us.

I believe in supernatural abundance where there are shortages, as I have seen time and time again in my life. I believe in trusting God even when I don't see the outcome yet. I believe in miracles.
